The Sims 4 is a game by EA Inc. that was released in September 2014. The Sims, originally made for architects, now is a life simulation game with a huge fan base.
The Sims 4, despite lacking content and having a range of expensive DLCs, still got a lot to offer.
Although there are a lot of things you can do in Sims 4, here are the top picks to pass your time.
1. Lot Creation
You have got to admit, building lots in Sims is one of the most therapeutic things. Just like the previous major titles of Sims, The Sims 4 provides a variety tools, features, and objects to help you make your dream house.
You can make a new lot on different sizes provided like 30*20 if you want to start small, or have a big mansion on 50*50 or 64*64 size lots.
You can make a house on your own or download the creative creations of the fellow simmers through Gallery or online sites.
2. Create a Sim (CAS)
Sims 4 allows us to make many of the realistic Sims for our games. You can make yourself, your friends, or even your pet dog or cat (with the expansion pack of Cats & Dogs).
Try different combinations of Sims by either making a random Sim or Sim version of your favorite celebrity or bring a fictional character to life by making it a Sim (not real real, but still close enough).
3. Challenges
Apart from basic gameplay, you can take on different exciting challenges in The Sims 4.
Few of my choices are:
a. Rags to Riches
b. No cheats
c. Generations
Will post more on that challenges later, don't worry ;)
4. Custom Content (CC)
Although Sims 4 has a collection of objects and designs, it is still not enough. Luckily, there is Custom Content that allows us to make and use mods and things that we miss in the game. There is an enormous increase in simmers using Custom Content in the game and you can find sites providing you the same for free. (I might do a post on my custom contents but not sure so we will see i guess :P)
5. Expansion/Game Packs
If you can afford or arrange the Expansion packs of The Sims 4, you are in for a lot more game play than the basic Sims 4. The expansion packs are downloadable packs that provides us with house objects and things related to CAS (even new worlds at times). The expansion packs currently provided by The Sims 4 are:
a. Get to Work
b. Get Together
c. City Living
d. Cats and Dogs
e. Seasons (latest)
The game packs released till now are:
a. Outdoor Retreat
b. Spa Day
c. Dine Out
d. Vampires
e. Parenthood
f. Jungle Adventure (selvadorada one)
